OUR sectors

01

Aerospace

The UK has a thriving aerospace sector directly employing 120,000 people. Many of these employees will need dust and fume extraction  systems as protection from harmful substances which they are exposed to in factories, hangars, R&D labs and other work environments.

02

Food

The food industry encompasses a wide range of companies including manufacturers, restaurants, some aspects of farming, and retailers. Food factories, for example bakeries, are particularly at risk from harmful dusts and can benefit from dust and fume extraction.

03

Vehicle Exhaust

Air pollution is the cause of 40,000 deaths in the UK each year, and vehicle exhaust fumes are a significant factor in this. Vehicle exhaust gases are present in many types of workplace. These include garages and car dealerships, MOT bays and car servicing workshops, railway-related facilities, airports, fire stations, military installations and repair shops.

04

Chemical industry

Companies in the chemical industry work with many natural and synthetic materials and substances.

Chemicals can come in solid, liquid or gas form  any of which could be hazardous. But they can pose a particular danger as dust or gas, because they can become airborne and come into contact with people through touch or inhalation.

05

pharmaceuticals

Within the pharmaceutical industry there are many types of company from global corporates to specialist R&D firms. Vent-Tech works with a wide range of companies in the pharmaceutical sector, including Perrigo, AstraZeneca and Medtronic.

06

education

Schools and colleges have a responsibility to keep their students, technicians and teachers safe. This is a wide-ranging obligation and to fulfil some of it, dust and fume extraction systems will almost certainly be necessary. Chemicals in science laboratories; and dusts, fumes and mists from workshops all pose a significant risk.

07

composites

Whether you work with concrete, fibre-reinforced plastics or any other type of composite materials, you will know that effective dust and fume extraction is essential. Both for the safety of your staff and also the quality of the finished materials and products you develop.
