This large Aerospace Manufacturer had inadequate LEV testing and servicing performed previously which fell short of of a Thorough Examination and Test (TExT) as is required by the HSE (HSG258). The LEV reports and solutions to ongoing problems also fell short of requirements.

The Royal Mint COSHH Testing and Servicing Case Study
The Royal Mint had previously completed inhouse checks, but wanted to bring in external expertise to ensure all checks were fully comprehensive and that they had advice and guidance on how to proceed if any issues were picked up.

ARUP Examination and Testing of LEV Systems Case Study
ARUPs invited Vent-Tech to assist with a COSHH test on a specialist welding system for one of their clients. Vent-Tech needed to demonstrate they had the expertise required to carry out this work to the exacting standards required by Arup.

Vent-Tech then completed a site survey of every system to understand Image Factory specific LEV needs to help them be compliant with all HSE regulations and provided a report.

AMG had concerns about the design of one of their LEV systems and made contact with Vent-Tech, who have now completed four different LEV designs for AMG to extract metal dust from various processes.

City of Bristol College Wood Waste Extraction Case Study
The college required a system that could extract from 32 woodworking machines in 3 different classrooms. To add complexity, the system was to be installed very close to the site boundary of the college.

St Mary Redcliffe LEV Servicing and Maintenance Case Study
St Mary Redcliffe had existing ventilation systems when they invited Vent-Tech to quote on the servicing of their systems 10 years ago. Twice yearly servicing was required to ensure the safe and efficient running of the systems.
